How to find us
We are situated on the Weaver Navigation just upstream of Northwich town centre and about four hours river passage from the Mersey.
Details of road access are shown below, travel time from M6 J19 is about 20 minutes. Please contact the office if you need further information.
We are normally open 7 days a week but please telephone before your visit and we will try to ensure that there is somebody available to show you our facilities.

Directions to Jalsea Marine, off Darwin Street, Northwich: From M6 leave at J19 on A556 for Northwich/Chester Continue on Northwich bypass (A556), past Morrisons distribution centre & Roberts bakery. At next roundabout (1 ½ miles) turn right towards Northwich town centre on London Road A533 (will also be signed to the Salt Museum). Follow signs for town centre through new Fairmead housing development, pass Salt Museum and go under railway viaduct. At next lights turn left and cross river at Hayhurst Bridge After bridge turn left at lights (T junction) onto Castle Street (up hill) After 400 yards or so pass shops and turn left into Darwin Street (200 yds before railway bridge, the Blue Barrel pub is at the top of Darwin Street) Down Darwin Street go under railway bridge (14ft 9" clearance) turn immediately right at mini-roundabout into Alfred Street. Continue down Alfred street to end of houses, the road turns sharp left and becomes Saxons Lane, 100 yards at the end of the lane is Weaver Shipyard. Visitors please call at the office before entering site.
